Sarah Parks-Marriott

Internet Marketing Associate

Roles & Responsibilities:

As an Internet Marketing Associate, I am responsible for creating a compelling story around your service or product. From keyword research, to optimized websites and targeted blog content, it is my job as a SEO strategist to promote your business and develop an effective online campaign.

Key Accomplishments:

I started my career as a freelance writer and copywriter and have produced content for many local and national clients. From working for the Reynolds School of Journalism as a content writer to providing stories for traveling agencies and local magazines, I love the variety of my work.

At OCG, most proud of:

I love that we don’t just provide one service for our clients. Each strategy and plan is individualized and it is my greatest accomplishment when I can develop the campaign that works for each client.

Describe favorite client:

A client who knows the ins and outs of their business and who is not afraid to express their love for what they do. I love it when clients come in with a vision and inspiration for their website, and lets me use their excitement and words to make that a reality.

Describe the “agency of the future”:

Online marketing strategies are ever-evolving and there is never a “one-size-fits-all” solution. The agency of the future should be willing to learn the latest techniques and be ready to develop an individualized plan for each client.

As a graduate of UNR’s journalism program, my love lies in writing. In internet marketing, I have been able to put my writing skills to use by creating editorial content plans, writing blog posts, and developing website content outline strategies.

Other Interests:

When I’m not outside playing with my dogs or riding my horse, you can always find me curled up reading a good book or attempting to write one of my own.  A lover of literature, my house is filled with bookshelves.
